Advanced Energy Hygiene

For Intuitive Wellness Practitioners Who Want to Maximize their Capacity, Mastery, and Profit.

RESTRUCTURING YOUR ENERGY with boundaries

Within the realm of Intuitive Wellness, true mastery is not merely about the tools in your kit but how you structure and navigate your own energy – a practice I refer to as Advanced Energy Hygiene. This strategic approach, encompassing your preparations before, during, and after a session, serves as a catalyst for harnessing your energy's full potential. It empowers you to create lasting momentum and impact without compromising your well-being.

It's important to note that this is not a collection of routine energy-clearing exercises; rather, it's a meticulously crafted and proven method that elevates the ambitious practitioner to the status of a true master within the field of Intuitive Wellness. Through advanced energy hygiene, you'll find yourself transcending the need for competition in an overcrowded space.

The resulting energetic agility and resilience will enable you to serve others with a revitalizing vigor, all while safeguarding against compassion fatigue and burnout-related symptoms. By mastering this practice, you position yourself to effortlessly attract precisely the right clients at precisely the right moments, in a manner that genuinely reflects your authenticity and expertise.

I guide female solopreneurs and practitioners within the intuitive wellness industry who find themselves grappling with the delicate balance of tending to their own well-being while simultaneously nurturing their clientele and expanding their enterprises. Often, these dedicated professionals inadvertently undervalue their services and stretch themselves too thin. My mission is to lead them away from the brink of burnout and from clinging to antiquated and unsustainable service-oriented paradigms.

Together, we transform their circumstances, fostering robust energetic boundaries and establishing a robust framework for structuring their practices. This transformation empowers them to scale their businesses in a sustainable manner without compromising their own well-being. Moreover, I work with them to cultivate a profound sense of self-worth. This newfound self-assuredness enables them to work more efficiently, magnify their impact, and attain the income they desire, all without the burden of guilt or shame.

  • Perfectionism Sabotage: Allowing perfectionism tendencies to hinder personal growth and impact.

  • Lack of Consistency: Struggling with maintaining consistent momentum and establishing firm boundaries.

  • Vague Offerings: Providing a vague and overly broad description of one's services, making it challenging for potential clients to understand what is offered.

  • Trend-Driven Attraction: Attracting a broad audience based on trends rather than intentionally creating a specific experience and targeting a desired clientele.

  • Compassion fatigue is a significant concern, particularly for those in the helping or healing professions who consistently go the extra mile for others. It arises when individuals in these roles lack intentional boundaries, which are vital for maintaining their own well-being, balance, and safety. Without these boundaries, they become susceptible to compassion fatigue, a condition that can have profound negative effects.

This phenomenon is often seen in those who serve others, whether in healthcare, counseling, or various healing arts, and who either have weak boundaries or see their efforts yielding insufficient results. They might also notice a decline in their stamina and require more time to recover between sessions.

Individuals grappling with compassion fatigue may make attempts to set boundaries regarding their time, energy, and generosity. However, they often feel overwhelmed by the pressing needs of others, compelling them to disregard their own boundaries and needs to ensure others have everything required for success. They may bear the weight of feeling solely responsible for alleviating the suffering of others or succumb to time pressures in their healing businesses, overdelivering to prove their worth and attract potential customers. This scarcity mindset can lead them to accept anyone, even if they aren't the right fit.

Another risk is enmeshment, wherein they struggle to distinguish between their own symptoms, pain, or resistance and those of their clients. Unchecked empathy may lead practitioners to inadvertently adopt their customers' symptoms, oblivious to this process. In their noble quest to ease others' discomfort, they may jeopardize their own health, ultimately bypassing essential lessons for their own growth and well-being.

Early signs of compassion fatigue include:

Energy Hangovers: Experiencing a sudden drop in energy, feeling lethargic, and hungover after a session, despite feeling highly energized before and during it.

Increased Recovery Time: Needing progressively more time to recover and return to an optimal state after sessions.

Blurred Boundaries: Losing sight of personal thresholds and pushing through without acknowledging the need for recovery time.

Boundary Erosion: Believing they don't require recovery time, leading to a loss of awareness about their optimal state.

Empathetic Extremes: Oscillating between over-empathizing or under-empathizing in response to customers' needs and situations.

Resentment: Growing resentment towards themselves, their personal health practices, their field, their customers, or their business.

Discernment Difficulty: Struggling to differentiate between truly energizing experiences and false highs.

If compassion fatigue is left unaddressed and unmitigated by appropriate boundaries, it can eventually result in feelings of burnout and potentially sideline the practitioner. This is often not an isolated incident but rather part of a recurring feedback cycle that needs proactive management.

Stevie Shayler - Founder

Allow me to introduce myself in a way that reflects my unconventional approach to life and personal growth. Instead of touting a laundry list of credentials or resorting to flowery language, I'll share the wisdom I've gained through real-life experiences and the invaluable lessons learned from the school of hard knocks.

After multiple burnouts and failed attempts, I ACCEPTED that I can serve no one if I don’t serve myself first.

Boundaries go much deeper than just saying yes or no and they aren’t an effective shield to hide behind.

Boundaries come down to knowing your values and morals. Without them, you can’t create the life you want with longevity in mind.

Being of service isn’t your identity and far from it. Self-worth isn’t dependent on how much you do for others.

We all came into life with the same amount of empathy and sensitivity as a baseline. Our experiences and interpretations shape the way we see the world and how we respond to it.

Doing the work for others or helping them move along their path quicker is a personal coping mechanism not an act of service.

Over-empathizing creates co-dependent situations and helps no one.

You aren’t meant to serve everyone. You don’t hold all the answers nor should you put pressure on yourself to think or act like you do.

Creating a community container that is open and promotes deep exploration without collective goals is dangerous and will likely do more harm than good.

It is challenging to discern truth from falsehood. It’s meant to be. To do so requires one to be anchored in their body and authenticity.

You won’t be able to discern an authentic person or experience without first being anchored in your OWN authenticity.
